New Programme - 2010
The next production is ALICE to be performed by the Youth Theatre, both senior and junior groups, during Summer Half Term week.
This is a new, modern adaptation of the Lewis Carroll stories especially written for us by Helena Gomm, who adapted our last Youth Theatre Production in 2007, Toad.
Original music is being written by Theo, who has written so much of the music used for previous Shakespeare productions and most recently the much praised incidental music and songs for Cider with Rosie
Performance dates: 2nd, 3rd and 4th June 2010

The Pirates of Penzance
A Rollicking Ride through the Coves of Cornwall with Innocent Girls, Marauding Pirates and Rather Nervous Policemen. Gilbert and Sullivans Masterpiece, playfully brought to life by the award winning West Meon Theatre, will be performed at The Meon Hall, Meonstoke on Thursday 30th September until Saturday 2nd October 2010.
We are looking for performers to be on the stage, singers to be in our seated chorus, musicians to be in our pit and all manner of people to help back stage. Our next Panto is Puss in Boots being performed in February 2011.
This will be written by Helena Gomm, who wrote our last Panto ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in 2009.
The music this time will be written and played by Theo, who is now composing the songs for ALICE and most recently the incidental music and songs for Cider with Rosie.
Hazel and I will once again look forward to your involvement both on and off stage. More details will follow later in the year with firm dates for auditions and rehearsals; don’t miss this space for the adventure of a lifetime!
