It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mary Dawson, the cherished founder of West Meon Theatre and a beloved member of our community.
Mary touched countless lives with her warmth and creativity. She brought people together through West Meon Theatre, inspiring performers and audiences alike, and giving so much of herself to West Meon. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live in every future performance.
Celebration of Mary’s Life
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Friday, 5th September 2025, at St John the Evangelist, West Meon at 12 Noon.
We warmly invite all who knew and loved Mary to join us in remembering her life. Mary will always remain at the heart of West Meon Theatre, and her spirit will continue to inspire us.
